How a game became way shorter than it was supposed to be

I had this idea to create a game where the only goal is to click over and over on a button, with a narrator convincing you to keep clicking on it, no matter what. Kind of a psychological game, with some humor in it. But while working on it, I lost interest in it a little bit and decided to finish the game as fast as possible. At first, I wanted this game to be at least 3 times longer than it actually was and also creating a soundtrack for it.

But.. here we are. I released Click Here as it is, a small game idea that took me a day to make. I do like some aspects of it and who knows, maybe one day, the motivation will come again to make something bigger with this idea. It's also the second game that I made with Decker and I really love the simplicity of making games with it.

You can play the game here: https://harlequindiver.itch.io/click-here
